page.A Day In The LifeThe role of the Supervisor, Terminal
Operations is to support the Fleet Manager with meeting or
exceeding the service level expectations of our customers through
the daily assignment of work to a team of drivers, manage an
origin(s) inventory, and work to optimize the SBU's network in
order to grow profitability. The activities include, but are not
limited to, managing driver performance, dispatching drivers,
inventory management and reconciliation, DOT compliance, time entry
administration, SBU communication and planning with the Fleet
Manager. It is tactically key for the Terminal Supervisor to have
regular daily contact with her/his associates to ensure they have
the resources they need to do their jobs and that drivers are
maintaining self-discipline to meet on-time delivery expectations
for our customers and exceed minimum work standards of the company
in a safe and damage free manner. The Terminal Supervisor will be
accountable for coordinating driving, loading and unloading
activities of drivers and managing engagement and relationships to
effectively deliver vehicles legally compliant and efficiently to
satisfy contractual and customer requirements. Depending on site
location, this position is responsible for daily interaction,
reporting and customer relationships. This position may physically
reside at a terminal, rail ramp or plant site.As a Supervisor,
Terminal Ops you will:Assign work to driver associates, manage
inventory levels, and optimize assigned small business location(s)
operational efficiencies.Assist with ensuring drivers know and
understand Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMSCR). This
includes monitoring and auditing Drivers Record of Duty Status
(Daily Log), pre-trip reporting, Electronic Drivers Vehicle
Inspection Report (EDVIR) to ensure compliance of both DOT and
Company rules and requirements.Communicate key issues and related
information to driver group and yard coordinators (where
applicable). This includes any supporting information that will
improve driver relations including but not limited to: submitting
trips sheets; policy and procedure changes; payroll information;
dispatch changes; holiday and time off administration; new benefit
information; Driver Handbook and the use of associate tools such as
Self-Service.Assist the fleet manager in meeting and/or exceeding
operational KPIs that maintains a culture aligned with the
organizational values.Conduct timely feedback sessions for drivers
related to quality and safety concerns. Prepare, present, and
upload appropriate documentation to ensure behavior management is
consistent across all assigned drivers.Assist drivers with
location/customer specific requirements related to access, quality
damages, or other specific location policies and procedures. The
goal being to make the driver experience as smooth as possible when
conducting work activities.Generate operational/customer specific
reports and perform daily, weekly and monthly report on the network
activities of the operation.Maintain a load factor and loaded miles
that are within set parameters (i.e., budgetary requirements,
performance indicators).Build trust with all associates, which will
include drivers and may include other operations support staff.Lead
and build a culture of cooperation, ownership, respect and empathy
in alignment with our company core competencies.Participate and
lead the corporate initiatives throughout the year, to ensure
direct reports are completing tasks timely.Secondary market load

business, logistics, or related field. PrefHigh School Diploma
Req1-3 years Supervisory Preferred4-6 years Previous transportation
or related industry experience. Required1-3 years Experience

performing the duties of the job, the associate is required on a
daily basis to analyze and interpret data, communicate, and remain

regularly required to move about the office and around the
corporate campus. The associate must frequently move up to 10
