Your role will include, pump maintenance, chemical transfers, inventory control, andlaboratory analysisall whileshapingexcellent relationships anddelivering valueto customers.You will be a critical part of our technical team whilecollaboratingwith external teams.As a Chemical Technician, you will be responsible for:

Working safely and adhering to all Baker Hughes and Customer Health, Safety and Environment policies and guidelines to ensure complianceManaging chemical inventories, placing chemical orders and deliveries to ensure adequate stock levels are maintainedPerform chemical transfers from either tote bins or bulk trucks into customer tanksConducting necessary field, lab testing and injection system monitoring to ensure optimization of treatment programsImputing data and documentation of day to day activitiesDesigning, installation, maintenance andtroubleshootingof chemical pumps and injection systemsBuilding relationships with internalcross-functionalteams and customers to ensure a flawless delivery and execution of projectsWork Experience Qualifications / Requirements:
Have a High School Diploma or equivalent educational levelDemonstrate knowledge of refinery orindustrial operations, finishedfuel additives,water treatmentandcustomer serviceexperienceShow a good understanding ofindustrial safetyprotocolsDemonstrate amechanical aptitudeand excellenttroubleshootingskillsHave experience working in alaboratorysettingBe able to work at elevated heights and climb barrel ladders along with being able to lift 50 poundsHave some experience in SafeChemical HandlingPracticesHavebasic math skillsand show a understanding of IT such as MS Office (Excel,PowerPoint, Word,Outlook)As part of our commitment to the health & safety of our employees, customers and the communities in which we operate, this role requires full vaccination for COVID-19 prior to beginning work.*Please remember that joining the Talent Community is not an application for any specific job at Baker Hughes but to have the privilege of being considered for an opportunity that suits your profile on priority.
