Hoogland's is one of Louisiana's largest landscape construction firms north of New Orleans. We specialize in all aspects of commercial and residential landscaping. Our services include landscaping, landscape maintenance, hardscaping, patio and walkway construction and paving, carpentry work, arbors, fire pits, outdoor kitchens, fountains, waterfalls, ponds and other water features, outdoor kitchens and eateries, even retaining walls. Our reputation precedes us in customer service, quality, professionalism, and customer satisfaction. We are seeking an experienced Senior Landscape Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design and development of landscape projects, from concept to completion. They will work closely with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to create beautiful, functional, and sustainable outdoor spaces. Responsibilities: Develop detailed landscape plans, including site analysis, planting plans, grading and drainage plans, and construction details Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and schedules for landscape projects Work with contractors and other stakeholders to ensure that landscape projects are completed to the required quality standards and within budget Lead the design and development of landscape projects Work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and develop design concepts that meet their requirements Selecting appropriate plants, materials, and features based on the site's conditions and the client's preferences Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in landscape design, and incorporating them into your work Qualifications/Experience: 3-5 years of experience A bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture or related field or relevant experience in landscape design Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain design concepts to clients, contractors, and other stakeholders Experience managing landscape projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration Strong design skills and a deep understanding of landscape architecture principles, including site analysis, planting design, grading and drainage, and construction detailing Our company values the ability to use new technologies, but we also value the ability to create hand drawn designs and although hand drawing are not a requirement, they are a plus Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design software a plus Ability to work quickly and independently, as well as listen to client feedback attentively What we Offer: Competitive Salary Range: $80,000-$100,000 salary will be based on experience and qualifications) Paid Time Off 401k Match Health insurance Relocation Assistance Schedule: Monday to Friday Ability Commute/Relocate: Bossier City, LA 71111 Needs to be able to reliably commute or willing to relocate We offer a relocation package Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 3 - 5 years Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 Annual Bonus/Commission: No
