Job Description Job Description Job Summary LHH is currently recruiting for a law firm in the Greater Nashville area. As a Legal Assistant, the candidate will be a key player in delivering top-tier legal services. They'll support a team of attorneys, primarily in banking/financial services, handling everything from document prep to client coordination. They'll work closely with local and cross-office teams, ensuring smooth operations and confidentiality. Key Responsibilities Draft and proofread legal documents (e.g., loan agreements, due diligence memos) Manage attorney calendars, billing, new matters, mail/faxes, and contact lists Maintain files, databases, and client correspondence with precision Anticipate attorney needs-support closings, checklists, due diligence Communicate with clients, internal teams, and government agencies Serve as Notary Public when applicable Provide backup support across the office as needed Requirements High school diploma required; bachelor's preferred Prior legal assistant experience, banking/financial services strongly preferred Bonus if you've worked in fintech, national security, or AI Familiarity with M&A, deal structuring, private equity/VC Solid grasp of legal terminology and federal/state banking regulations Advanced MS Office skills; NetDocs experience is a plus Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple tasks Strong client-service mindset and ability to thrive under pressure Self-motivated, adaptable, and a proactive team player Benefits: Depending on the specific client, location, and role, the benefits may include PTO, medical, dental, vision, term life and AD&D insurance, short-term disability and long-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, wellness plans, and a 401k plan or a non-qualified deferred compensation plan.
