Our work depends on a S enior Salesforce Developer joining our team to support Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services ( CMS ) activities.At GDIT, we foster a people-centric environment. As a Sr. Salesforce Developer supporting CMS, you will be trusted to work on Salesforce platform and provide IT development in support of Marketplace initiatives. This position is 100% remote with work schedules based on Eastern Standard Time (EST). In this role, a typical day will include:

• Collaborating withSolutions Architects, Development Manager, Development Team, Business Analysts,CMS, and other Agile team membersto solvecomplex policy and system integration involving activities across severalSalesforce Orgs.
• Asan organized, analyticalproblem solver, you willcontribute to the Agile teams sprint work todesign, develop, and maintain software and tools to support building, deploying, and monitoring applications.
• Develop better and more efficient ways of delivering solutions that meet business objectives.
• Create,updateand maintain system documentation
• Write process requirementsandtechnical design documents
• Responsible for continually advancing the technology in a collaborative and creative Agile environment using many of the latest technologies and industry best practices
• Conduct investigations and analysis to provide recommendations regarding technologyimprovements, development best practices, standardization,andupgrades
• Provide mentoring and development guidance to junior team members
• Work collaboratively and effectively with all levels of management and staff within the organizationWHAT YOULL NEED:
  • Bachelors degree in computer science or related field
  • Hands-on experience d eveloping customized solutions within the Salesforce platform
  • Hands-on experience d esigning, coding, and implementing Salesforce applications
  • Experience with Salesforce Development including Lightning Components, Visualforce, APEX, SOQL, and SOSL
  • Experience on the Salesforce Lightning Platform including Process Builder, Workflows, Lightning App Builder, etc.
  • Experience working on Salesforce communities and Sites
  • Experience implementingfull life cycle project in Lightning and have expert level working knowledge on major Salesforce.com technologies including Lightning web components, Apex Web Services, Visualforce, Batch Apex, Queueable Apex,etc
  • Experienced in web technologies such as HTML, XML, CSSand JavaScript, WSDL
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications using SOAP, REST, BULK and Streaming APIs
  • Experience with SFDC specific IDE and version control configurations (Github,BitBucket) for Salesforce development (VSCode, IntelliJ, SFDX)
  • Working knowledge and experience with complex business systems integration as well as object-oriented design patterns and development
  • Provide technical assistance and end user troubleshooting for bug fixes, enhancements,and how-to assistance
  • Candidate must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance and must have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) yearsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    • US citizen, EAD,or a Green Card holder
    • SalesforcePlatform DeveloperII certification
    • Healthcare Service Industry or Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) experience
    • Experience working with JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint
    • Experience with infrastructure in a cloud environment (AWS preferred)
    • Experience with Agile methodologies and frameworks such as, but not limited to: SAFe, Scrum, Kanban
    • 4Certified SAFe Agilist, SAFe Practitioner or other Agile certification
