GDIT will develop and deliver a digital engineering design solution which enables and integrates the program's complete set of data, tools, and model-based systems engineering (MBSE) activities, and makes them available to internal and appropriate external engineering and programmatic stakeholders throughout the program's lifecycle. This effort will culminate in an abstracted, highly transportable Digital Engineering Environment (DEE) delivered to the Government, to be instantiated "virtually" - on the Government's network infrastructure and updated during the Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) phase of weapon system development.Duties:Design, implement, test, and support modern, efficient, secure software within the domains of web, api, and dataTeach and mentor other team members in the disciplines and techniques with which you excelBuild customer confidence and trust by delivering working software on time and oftenBring an innovative, always learning, agile/lean mindset to the teamWork closely with others to determine requirementsRequired Qualifications:BA/BS in Computer Science or similar discipline5+ years of experience creating web applications in an agile environmentDeep experience with at least one modern, object-oriented languageDeep experience with ReactStrong experience with databasesUnderstanding of software design patterns and their useStrong automated testing skills with knowledge of TDD and BDD techniquesAgile/Lean mindsetScrum, Kanban, and/or SAFe experienceUnderstanding of front-end and back-end technologies and architectures, such as API design, micro-services, relational and non-relational databases, scalability, and securityCapable of obtaining and maintaining a DOD Secret clearancePreferred Qualifications:PythonDjangoJavaSeleniumModel Based Systems EngineeringMS Sql ServerPostgreSQLScheduled Weekly Hours:40Travel Required:10-25%Telecommuting Options:Telecommuting Not AllowedWork Location:USA LA Bossier CityAdditional Work Locations:We are GDIT.
