The Human Resource Generalist provides a wide range of Human Resource support to Hardware Resources employees and the Human Resources Department. This role carries out responsibilities in all aspects of Human Resources including benefits administration, training and development, performance management, onboarding/off-boarding, policy administration, legal compliance, recruiting and safety.------Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvides generalist support to Hardware Resource facilities in all areas of Human Resources.Maintains positive employee relations by being accessible.--Offers assistance, guidance and coaching as needed.Ensures accurate and timely processing of hourly payroll.Coordinates and verifies completion of new hire paperwork for all personnel.Conducts New Hire Orientation for Bossier City production and warehouse personnel.Assists in processing of all terminations.Maintains and ensures personnel files are kept up-to-date.Assists Senior HR Director in investigations and preparing summary reports.Reviews workplace injuries and submits initial Workers' Compensation claim to carrier.Maintains OSHA 300 log.Complies with E-Verify and immigration (I-9) requirements.Maintains accurate and up-to-date records in all personnel systems, (e.g., benefits, payroll, and timekeeping) Works closely with Operations on Emergency Evacuation plan and regularly scheduled drills.Assists HR Director in working with Management to ensure effective training and development of all employees. Conducts annually required training and assists in all other training and development activities.Ensures compliance with all State and Federal laws and regulations pertaining to Human Resource matters.Assists in the planning and coordination of all Employee events.Assists in annual open enrollment process.Performs all other duties as assigned and deemed appropriate.Required Knowledge and Skills--------------Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Word, PowerPoint and Excel--------------Excellent oral and written communication skills--------------Superior organization skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely mannerDetail oriented and internal customer drivenMust be an excellent multi-tasker with the ability to handle competing priorities.Excels at working in a collaborative team environment--------------Understands importance of maintaining confidentialityEducation and Employment Experience--------------Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business--------------PHR/SPHR certification desired--------------Previous experience in driving Safety in a manufacturing environment highly desired--------------3 to 5 years in a fast paced Human Resource role; preferably in manufacturing--------------Self-motivated, results-driven professional who consistently delivers high-quality workAdditional Information--------------Travel to other Hardware Resources locations is required (35% travel)**No relocation offered - local candidates only
