AccentCare is actively seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our Home Health team. This role is crucial in assisting our licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans designed to help patients enhance and restore their functional mobility. Our ideal candidate will be compassionate and skilled in delivering high-quality physical therapy services directly in our patients’ homes. With a focus on personalization and effectiveness, this role involves not only assisting in therapy sessions but also ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the recovery process. Assist physical therapists in the implementation of treatment plans. Provide direct therapy services as prescribed and under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. Document patient’s progress and participate in patient care meetings. Educate patients and families on treatment plans and in-home therapy exercises. Ensure the safe use of equipment and adherence to treatment plans. Proficient in the use of physical therapy equipment and techniques. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently within patients' homes. Strong organizational and observational skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current Physical Therapy Assistant license as per state requirements. Valid CPR certification. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
