ICU/Critical Care RN in Shreveport, Louisiana, 71103! Job Title:

Minimum of 2 years in specialty required License: Compact or state
license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, CPI preferred
Must-Have: Epic experience required Description: This Registered
Nurse position is for an Intensive Care Unit. The nurse will work
night shifts. The schedule is three 12-hour shifts per week. The
nurse will have a daily patient ratio of 1:2. Responsibilities
include caring for neuro ICU patients. The nurse will be expected
to float to other units when necessary. Every other weekend
coverage is required. Candidates must have experience in managing
patients with multi-system organ dysfunction. The role also
includes interpreting dysrhythmias and managing central lines and
arterial lines. Ensuring infection prevention and safety protocols
is essential. Candidates should be skilled in ventilator management
and responding to emergency situations. Physical therapy,
respiratory services, and other interdisciplinary support teams are
available. Placement of external ventricular drains (EVDs) and
performing neuro checks will be part of the duties. Regular CT and
MRI trips will also be needed as per patient requirements.
Candidates should be prepared for mandatory vaccination
requirements. Additionally, a current NURSYS report must be
submitted. Two supervisor references will be required prior to
