Overview: Our organization is looking for an Integrative Medicine
Physician who will deliver thorough patient care by merging
traditional and integrative treatment methods. This position also
involves engaging in educational initiatives and research
activities. The successful candidate will work alongside a diverse
team, create educational programs focused on integrative health,
and mentor medical students and trainees. This faculty role
requires board certification or eligibility in relevant medical
fields and prioritizes a holistic, patient-focused approach within
an academic setting. The Osher Center for Integrative Health is on
the lookout for a passionate and innovative clinical educator to
join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will be tasked
with providing exceptional integrative clinical care , aiding in
the creation and execution of integrative health education, and
engaging in scholarly activities within our academic framework.
This position is perfect for a board-certified or board-eligible
professional in Integrative Health who is eager to enhance the
field through both patient care and educational efforts. The
individual will hold a primary faculty position in the Department
of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at our School of Medicine.
Primary Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive integrative
clinical care that considers physical, emotional, mental, social,
spiritual, and environmental factors affecting health. Work
collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide
patient-centered care that integrates conventional medicine with
complementary therapies (such as acupuncture, mindfulness, and
lifestyle medicine). Design and implement educational initiatives
for medical students, residents, fellows, and other healthcare
professionals. Guide and mentor trainees, promoting a culture of
learning and professional development. Assist in the growth and
enhancement of integrative health services within our organization
and the broader community. Required Qualifications: MD, DO, or an
equivalent degree from an accredited institution. Board
certification or eligibility in one of the following specialties:
Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Family Medicine, Internal
Medicine, or Med-Peds . Fellowship training or substantial
experience in Integrative Medicine is highly preferred. Proven
interest in integrative health practices, including mind-body
medicine, acupuncture, and lifestyle medicine (nutrition, exercise,
health behavior). Strong communication, teamwork, and teaching
abilities. Dedication to patient-centered care and holistic
methodologies in clinical practice. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in academic medicine, particularly in teaching and
mentoring roles. Previous involvement in the development of
integrative health curricula. A solid record of scholarly
contributions (peer-reviewed publications, conference
