Registered Nurse (RN) | Home Health Location: Texarkana, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,054 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/26/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum of 1 full year Adult Home Health Experience or 1 full year Hospice experience License: Must have a valid nursing license in hand Certifications: CPR, BLS Must-Have: - Proficiency in OASIS within the last 6 months - Proficiency in HomeCare HomeBase EMR within the last 6 months Description: The Registered Nurse provides, coordinates, and directs the provision of home nursing care according to physician's orders. Care delivery is based on policies and procedures through the competent application of the nursing process. The role is responsible to the Clinical Manager and involves supervising and evaluating Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses/Licensed Vocational Nurses. Daily travel is required for home visits and periodic office meetings. Candidates must have reliable transportation and a current driver's license, along with agency-required liability insurance. The average number of patients per day typically ranges from 5 to 10. Contractors will be assigned between 5-10 patients per day, equating to roughly 6-8 points, with a weekly productivity expectation of 30 points. Types of cases include Start of Care, Wound Care, Follow-up Visits, etc. The position requires flexibility regarding weekend and on-call responsibilities as they may vary based on location and profession. Candidates must be open to traveling up to 75 miles from their home clinic for patient visits. Mileage reimbursement is provided at the IRS standard rate, based on travel between patient homes. It is expected that all documentation be completed within 24 hours after patient appointments to ensure accurate billing and follow-up care. There are no guaranteed hours with this contract, and candidates must be prepared to accept all scheduled patients regardless of distance. Delayed or incomplete documentation may result in cancellations. If weekly patient volumes do not meet financial needs, opportunities exist to float to nearby clinics for additional patient coverage.
