experienced step-down unit RNs in Henderson, TX. This contract
position offers a chance to work in a fast-paced, supportive
environment focused on providing exceptional patient care for those
requiring intermediate-level monitoring. Responsibilities: -
Provide direct patient care to adult and pediatric step-down
patients with complex medical conditions. - Monitor vital signs,
administer medications, and collaborate with interdisciplinary
teams to create and implement care plans. - Respond promptly to
changes in patient status, ensuring patient safety and comfort. -
Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in the electronic
medical record system. Qualifications: - Active RN license. -
Minimum of 2 years experience in progressive care units. - Current
BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted). - Ability to
manage patient ratios effectively (typically 1:5). - Comfortable
working night shifts with rotating weekends. - Strong clinical
assessment and communication skills. Schedule/Hours: - Night
shifts: 7 PM to 7 AM - Rotating weekends; no call required -
Floating as needed, with no 48-hour shifts or block scheduling
