TSC helps its clients look their best, solve staffing shortages, and perform at high efficiency, while saving valuable resources The company operates through four separate business groups: Managed Services - Turn-key Hospitality/Casino Housekeeping, Stewarding, Third Shift Cleaning, Public Area Cleaning, Laundry and Kitchen Cleaning Hospitality Services - Food & Beverage and Hospitality Staffing for Stadium/Arenas, Schools/Universities, Conventions and Corporate Dinning, Caterers and Restaurants Specialty Services - Window and Chandelier Cleaning, Pressure Washing, Pool Cleaning and Maintenance, Exterior Building Cleaning Engineering Services - Commercial Facilities Maintenance, Janitorial, Energy Management and Engineering Services Position Overview: Support the talent management initiatives, salaried & hourly employee relations matters, associate development, staffing and retention programs, and all HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state and Company standards for the Region. 50% travel is required. Reports to Chief Human Resources Officer . Work with the regional operations team and with property-specific leadership to ensure high employee engagement and succession planning.

  • Assess human resource management training needs of the region. Organize and present training sessions to operations leadership
  • Act as point of escalation when employee relations issues arise, advise Operations on proper reporting and documentation
  • Perform investigations and resolve escalated associate relations disputes. Make decisions regarding senior management terminations as needed
  • Identify patterns with frequent associate relations disputes and partner with the operations team to implement sustainable solutions and make recommendations corporate management for best practices
  • Participate in the recruitment and selection of senior management positions
  • Manage progressive discipline procedure for station managers and drivers, ensuring write ups are completed in a timely fashion and each issue is documented in employee files
  • Ensure human resource compliance with federal, state, and local laws. Work with the corporate legal team as needed to mitigate human resource related risks throughout the region
  • Partner with regional team on management of operations, training, succession planning
  • May lead or participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned
  • Conducts new hire orientation and safety training for new employees at opening. Qualifications & Skills:
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in HR, Business or OD required/Masters' preferred
    • Human resources certification (like PHP, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP)
    • 7+ years' experience in an HR leadership function with a large Hospitality company
    • Thorough experience in hospitality & dealing with unions preferred
    • Excellent knowledge of employment legislation, regulations and labor market
    • Experienced in leading global/regional HR projects and programs
