Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be
considered. A contract position is available for a Special
Education Teacher serving students in grades K-12, beginning
January 2026 through June 2026. This role is based in Columbus, IN
and offers an opportunity to support diverse learning needs across
self-contained, resource, and special day classrooms. Key
Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction tailored to
students with varying exceptionalities in elementary through high
school settings (grades K-12). Develop and implement individualized
education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary
teams. Manage classroom environments that foster student engagement
and progress. Monitor and document student performance and adjust
teaching strategies accordingly. Qualifications: Active State
License for Special Education teaching. Experience working with
K-12 students in special education settings, including
self-contained and resource classrooms. Ability to work 5 days per
week, 30 to 37.5 hours weekly. Location: Columbus, Indiana
