Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required. An Early Childhood Special Education Teacher position is available for an itinerant role serving 3-4 year-old students across multiple school and community sites. This full-time contract assignment runs through May 19, 2026, and is located in Bossier City, Louisiana. Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction tailored to early childhood learners at their homeschool locations, daycares, or Head Start centers. Ensure compliance with Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) by leading IEP meetings and adhering to the special education calendar. Conduct rigorous progress monitoring of student goals and adjust teaching strategies accordingly. Implement developmentally appropriate lessons and instructional strategies aligned with state and local curricula to support diverse learning needs. Organize mobile and technology-enhanced learning environments to foster student engagement and academic growth. Maintain accurate electronic records and submit progress reports in a timely manner. Collaborate regularly with parents, caregivers, and community partners to promote student success. Qualifications: Must hold a valid Early Childhood Special Education Teaching Certification. Experience working with young children with special needs in early childhood settings preferred. Ability to travel between multiple sites daily (3-4 locations). Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills. Proficient in using technology for instruction and record-keeping.
