Nashville, TN (onsite) Full Time (37.5 hours/week) Our client, a
respected and long standing downtown Nashville law firm, is looking
for a Billing Specialist to join the accounting team. As a Legal
Billing Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring
accurate and timely billing of legal invoices. You will work
closely with a team of attorneys and staff to review, process, and
submit invoices to clients. Your attention to detail and ability to
navigate complex billing guidelines will be essential in this role.
Responsibilities: - Review attorney time entries and expenses for
accuracy and compliance with billing guidelines - Prepare and
process invoices using our billing software - Collaborate with
attorneys and staff to resolve billing discrepancies and inquiries
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding billing matters
and provide excellent customer service - Assist with month-end
billing reconciliation and reporting as needed - Stay informed
about industry best practices and updates in legal billing
regulations Qualifications: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in
billing or related field - Strong attention to detail and ability
to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment - Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to prioritize
tasks and meet deadlines effectively Please submit your application
