Job Description Job Description Senior Accountant - Hybrid | Nashville, TN Salary: $80,000-$90,000 Schedule: Hybrid (2-3 days onsite) Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a growing Nashville organization in a hybrid capacity. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical accounting experience, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to support both day-to-day accounting and higher-level financial reporting. You will be a key contributor to the month-end close process, financial accuracy, compliance, and process improvement across the accounting function. Key Responsibilities Lead month-end and year-end close , including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations Prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements, reports, and variance analyses Maintain and reconcile complex general ledger accounts, fixed assets, intercompany activity, and deferred accounts Support internal and external audit requirements by preparing schedules and documentation Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling as needed Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for efficiency Strengthen internal controls, update accounting procedures, and support policy development Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting Drive process improvements and support system enhancements Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA-eligible a plus) 4-7 years of progressive accounting experience Strong knowledge of GAAP and multi-entity accounting Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, modeling) Experience with mid-market or enterprise accounting systems (NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Oracle, SAP, Yardi, etc.) Strong communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment Compensation & Benefits $80,000-$90,000 annual salary Hybrid work schedule (2-3 days onsite) Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO) Professional growth and advancement opportunities Why This Opportunity?
